Tally on mobile: your books on your phone
OpenBahi puts your TallyPrime books on your phone. See who owes you, open any party's ledger, check today's bills and follow up on WhatsApp, while your accountant keeps working in Tally on the office PC.
What you see on your phone
- Party-wise outstanding. Every customer's dues, oldest bills first, with the days since the last payment.
- Ledger and statement. Any party's ledger and statement of open bills, ready to share as a PDF.
- Invoices. Each sales bill with its items, ready to open or send as a PDF.
- Day Book. Today's invoices and receipts.
- Sales. This year against the same months last year.
- Clients. Who is buying, and who has gone quiet.
- Suppliers and stock. Purchase bills, what you owe suppliers, and Tally's own stock per item.
- Dalals. Business each broker brought in and the money pending under him, when the broker name is entered on invoices.
Read from your own history
OpenBahi works out, from each party's own past bills, how fast they really pay (fast, normal, slow or very slow), gives every party a credit status (OK, New, Watch, Hold or Recover) with the reason, and shows how much your open bills should bring in over the coming weeks. These are statistical and logic models built on your books. The decision stays yours.
How the Tally connection works
- A small Windows app on the PC where Tally runs reads the books through Tally's own XML port. It never writes to Tally.
- Turn the port on once: Gateway of Tally > F1 (Help) > Settings > Connectivity > Client/Server configuration, set Enable ODBC to Yes and Port to 9000.
- Tally must be open with the company loaded. The sync checks every hour from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and the dashboard rebuilds when the books change.
- Several companies in one Tally can each have their own dashboard from one install.
